Today the only way big companies and powerful individuals feel that people will come back and become reliant on someone is if they lie, if they tell a little story. Which isn't entirely wrong. As a society our economy thrives on false hopes, lies, and unachievable goals for  security. They know that if the people have not yet achieved that impossible goal, or wish, or thing they so desperately aspire to be they will inevitably always come back.

      I tried to show this idea in my photo with symbolism as the newspaper was covering the models eyes to symbolize the fact that media covers our eyes and tells us to look the other way sometimes when it comes to reporting and spreading truth rather than false information or information used to distract us from the truth. Although this is not in my final photo in addition to putting the newspaper on a person's eyes I also put it in the model s mouth to show how the media is so powerful they not only control what we see but also what we say due to the fact that in our eyes and head what we are saying is seemingly true.
